1. The Nature of the Exchange At Pile of Dime, we view each transaction as a deliberate engagement between the creator and the wearer. Given the experimental and limited-edition nature of our pieces, we operate under a strict policy regarding returns and refunds. We encourage you to reflect carefully before participating in our releases.
2. Return Eligibility In the spectacle of modern fashion, products are often subject to rapid cycles of consumption. Consequently:
- Finality: All sales are considered final. We do not accept returns or exchanges based on changes of heart, preference, or misunderstanding of sizing.
- Defects: If you receive a piece that is genuinely flawed due to a manufacturing error, you must notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Please provide photographic evidence and your order confirmation via our contact channels.
- Condition: Any item approved for return must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original state. Items that have been altered or show signs of wear will not be accepted.
3. The Logistics of Return Should an item be deemed defective by our team, we will coordinate the return logistics. Please note that the responsibility of return shipping rests with the sender, as we are not liable for items lost in transit back to our studio. We highly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method.
4. Refund Processing Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the outcome.
- If the defect is verified, we will process a refund to your original payment method.
- Please allow up to 14–21 business days for the processing to reflect in your account, depending on your financial institution’s protocols.
5. Non-Refundable Scenarios We do not offer refunds for:
- Items damaged through improper handling or post-delivery wear.
- Packages lost by couriers after they have been marked as “Delivered.”
- Purchases made through third-party resellers or unauthorized channels.
